Our dedicated employees serve citizens of Palm Beach County 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are committed to providing the public with the quickest, most efficient response to emergency calls, constantly mindful of our role in ensuring the safety of law enforcement and public safety personnel. We strive for courtesy, professionalism, and consistent response to those who require 9-1-1 and other communications services from Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The Communications Division consists of over 180 employees, three independent dispatch/call centers, handling well over one million phone calls annually. Our Communications centers are the Glades and Eagle Emergency Communications Centers in Belle Glade and the Courthouse Emergency Communications Center in West Palm Beach. Communications support functions include Teletype, Communications CAD Support. We provide comprehensive law enforcement support services including 9-1-1 and dispatch services to unincorporated Palm Beach County and several contracted municipalities.

Information for the hearing impaired
Our VESTA system recognizes callers that are using a TTY through the Baudot tones.
If you call 9-1-1 through TTY, we are automatically notified, and we will be able to communicate properly.
