The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office conducted Operation Hot Wheels, on Saturday, April 13, 2024.  This operation is designed to deter criminal activity of Car Clubs within Palm Beach County and safeguard property, and human life, through proactive traffic enforcement.

 PBSO received information that there was a large-scale car club event, Clean Cultures New Year Showcase at Cacti Park, with over 4000 eventgoers attending.  Proactive enforcement was conducted around the event resulting in the stats below.

Results of the operation are as follows:

Traffic Stops: 60
Citations: 73
Speeding and Aggressive Driving Citations: 56
Criminal Traffic Citations: 8
Vehicles towed (30 day hold): 4
Arrests: 6
