The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office received multiple complaints from property owners who were defrauded by Turia Grantlin.

During the investigation, and after reviewing evidence, detectives determined that Grantlin rented multiple single-family homes in Wellington between 2005 and 2026. She utilized falsified financial documents, credit reports, and tenant background reports to secure leases.

Grantlin then issued worthless checks to homeowners and exploited the eviction process, causing prolonged delays and significant financial losses. These losses included unpaid rent, utility costs, fines, attorney’s fees, and, in some cases, stolen or damaged property.

Turia Grantlin was taken into custody on April 9, 2026, and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on the charges listed below.
