The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is fortunate to have three excellant training facilities at it’s disposal. These locations vary as to their purpose and location.
Headquarters Facilities
There are several hotels in the immediate area for those attending training from out of town. The facilities at Headquarters include: 4 fully equipped classrooms, law library, armory, gymnasium, fully equipped weight room, and a dining facility that serves breakfast and lunch Monday – Friday.
Driving Facilities
A fully enclosed asphalt pad allows for a multitude of training scenarios. The facility is used for Mobile Field Force, Helicopter Operations, and other courses, as well as a multitude of driving courses from Police Motorcycle to Commercial Drivers License training. The driving pad also features an automatically irrigated skid-pad.
