Major Tristram Moore currently commands the West Regional Bureau of Patrol Operations.  The West Region consists of District 5 (Unincorporated Belle Glade), District 8 (Wellington), District 9 (Royal Palm Beach), District 11 (South Bay), District 12 (Pahokee), District 13 (Belle Glade), District 15 (Acreage/Loxahatchee), District 17 (Loxahatchee Groves), and District 18 (Westlake).  The West Region has a combined staff of 322 dedicated men and women committed to providing professional law enforcement services to our residents.

Major Tristram Moore began his career with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in 2000.  His previous assignments within PBSO are diverse and include: Road Patrol, Gang Unit Detective, Violent Crimes Task Force Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Gang Detective Sergeant, Violent Crimes Sergeant, Administrative Lieutenant, and District Commander.

Major Tristram Moore holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Barry University.  He is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 285 in Quantico, Virginia.

Major Tristram Moore is married and has four children Kacey, Tristram Jr., Joshua, and Alexis.
