It is an honor to serve as the Commander of the Narcotics Division. I have proudly served with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office since 1999. Throughout my law enforcement career, I have gained extensive experience across a broad range of assignments, including Field Training Officer and Community Policing, as well as specialized enforcement roles in Street Crimes, the Detective Bureau, and the Narcotics Division. My experience also includes serving as a Narcotics Canine Handler and in supervisory capacities as a Clandestine Laboratory Sergeant and Narcotics Training Sergeant.
I have also worked extensively in multi-agency task force environments, including the Public Assistance Fraud Task Force, South Florida Task Force, and Multi-Agency Diversion Task Force. In addition, I have held command-level responsibilities overseeing Vehicle Homicide Investigations and DUI Enforcement, managing complex investigations and operational initiatives. These diverse experiences have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of law enforcement operations and a strong commitment to serving and protecting our community.
The Narcotics Division is primarily responsible for enforcing state and federal controlled substance laws and regulations. Our personnel are dedicated to proactively investigating and holding accountable individuals and organizations involved in the cultivation, manufacture, and distribution of illegal drugs. We work in close collaboration with our federal, state, and local partners to effectively accomplish our mission.
The Division is also home to the Money Laundering Task Force, which investigates financial crimes associated with the concealment and movement of illicit proceeds. This task force focuses on identifying and dismantling financial networks that support criminal organizations, particularly those involved in illegal drug trafficking. Comprised of local, state, and federal partners, the task force is committed to detecting, investigating, and prosecuting individuals and organizations that attempt to legitimize unlawfully obtained funds through complex financial schemes.
Our division recognizes the importance of remaining adaptable and vigilant in the ever-evolving landscape of illegal drug activity. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is committed to identifying the most effective strategies to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking organizations that negatively impact our community.
