Syretta Williams

I am Syretta Williams, the Administrative Secretary for Corrections Support Services. I am a native New Yorker. I have been with Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) for the past 6 years. I have been asked frequently, why did you move to Florida? My response is, because I have heard that PBSO is a great agency with a lot of opportunity and I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. With that notion, I came aboard as a Correctional Support Personal (CSP) for the Corrections Division at the Main Detention Center, moving forward as a Clerical Specialist for the Programs Department, then got the opportunity to leave the Corrections Division to work on the Law Enforcement side in District #1 as a Clerical Specialist. Personally experiencing all the potential this agency has and with tenacity and determination I have returned from the Law Enforcement side back to the Corrections Division now working as an Administrative Secretary. Through all of my accomplishments here at PBSO, I can truly say the sky is the limit.
