Arrest made on assault at LA Fitness in Lake Worth

UPDATE * March 30, 2023

PBSO Detectives arrested three suspects for Assaulting and Robbing Daniel Hernandez on March 21, 2023.  All three suspects; Rafael Medina, Jr., DOB: 8/11/1979, Octavious Medina, DOB: 8/15/1999 and Anthony Maldonado, DOB: 6/18/1997, have been located, arrested and are currently being booked/processed into the Palm Beach County Jail.

Location:    8888 Lantana Road, Lake Worth – LA Fitness

Deputies responded to an assault that took place inside LA Fitness, located in the 8000 block of Lantana Road, Lake Worth. Upon arrival, deputies learned that an altercation occurred inside the business between several individuals resulting in injuries to the victim, Daniel Hernandez.

Hernandez was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

Detectives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating this incident further.
