The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office took a group of students from South Grade Elementary School to LEGOLAND Florida Resort for the day. This was the conclusion of a school program where the deputies helped out the students in their efforts to build Lego cars at school. D/S Musso and R/DS Flora arranged to present a family on White Pine with a 32” flat screen television, two game systems and approximately 60 video games. The history behind the family is that the mother has stage 4 cancer and her father who resides with them on White Pine died yesterday hours before the presentation. The husband and father of the children works in the cafeteria at Lion Country Safari. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Marine Unit Assisted the U.S. Coast Guard with capsized vessel. One vessel capsized six miles off shore of Boca Raton Inlet. Several individuals were rescued from the water by PBSO Marine Unit deputies and Coast Guard Officials. Marine Unit deputies were dispatched to assist the coast at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 29, 2014.
