Update – Early Morning Shooting/Homicide in City of Lake Worth Beach

UPDATE

The investigation have led to the arrest of two suspects:

Morey S. Pinard III – 23 years old

  • 2 Counts of 2nd Degree Murder with a Firearm
  • 2 Counts of Attempted 2nd Degree Murder with a Firearm

Michael B. Vititoe – D.O.B. 10/30/1995

  • Simple Battery
  • Accessory After the Fact – Homicide

Both Pinard and Vititoe have been transported to the Palm Beach County Jail and booked on the charges above.  They will be attending first appearance tomorrow morning.

The deceased victim’s identity is as follows:

Christopher Allen, W/M, 4/01/1991, pronounced deceased on scene

Steven Stratis, W/M, 12/18/1999, pronounced deceased on scene

No additional information to add at this time.

 

Time:          1:00 am
Location:    600 block of Lake Ave, City of Lake Worth Beach

PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 600 block of Lake Ave, City of Lake Worth Beach. Upon arrival, they discovered four adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Two victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, one is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition and two males were pronounced deceased on scene.

The Violent Crimes Division is actively investigating this incident as a Shooting/Homicide. The preliminary investigation is believed that an altercation occurred inside the establishment resulting in the shooting.

No suspect information to share.
