Please Contact Central Records at 561-688-3140 to obtain a copy of a 9-1-1 recording . All recordings remain on file for approximately 90 days from the time the call took place. For the cost of a recording please view the Price List.
To leave a message for a deputy during working hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, contact the District in which the deputy works. If after hours and it is an emergency or weekend please contact the Communications Division at 561-688-3000.
A public record is outlined in Florida State Statute 119.011(11) as,

All documents papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings, data processing software, or other material, regardless of the physical form, characteristics, or means of transmissions, made or received pursuant to law or ordinance or in connection with the transactions of official business of any agency.All materials made or received by an agency in connection with official business which are used to perpetuate, communicate or formalize knowledge. All such materials, regardless of whether they are in final form, are open for public inspection unless the legislature has exempted them from disclosure.
