UPDATE  2

The victims have been identified as Stephen Taylor, DOB: 1/17/1965 of Hollywood, and Gojko Damjanic, DOB: 5/20/1966 of Ft. Lauderdale.

Sadly, Both occupants, adult males, were pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital. PBSO will secure the wreckage scene until the arrival of NTSB which we be sometime Thursday, July 11, 2024.

July 10, 2024

At 2:12 pm, deputies responded to the 11600 block of Aviation Blvd (North County Airport).  Deputies learned that an aircraft with two occupants entered a body of water nearby.  Currently, PBSO divers, PB Gardens Fire Rescue and PBC Fire Rescue divers are in the water searching for the occupants. WPB PD Marine Unit and PBSO Marine Unit are in route to assist further.
