Our Motor Unit enforcing a school zone on Lake Worth Road wrote several warnings and tickets this morning, with the highest speed of 68 miles per hour in a 20 mph school zone. When driving by a school zone, please think of the children our children.

School Traffic Initiative Has a Good Start
Our School Traffic Initiative is off to a good start. Drivers can either slowdown when passing by a school zone or we’ll be there as a reminder. Just to give you an example, in the Town of Lake Park alone, we have given out 58 citations and 159 written warnings.2nd Annual Free Bicycle Giveaway
We had our 2nd Annual Free Bicycle Giveaway in Greenacres. We surprised a few kids in the community who are making their parents, teachers, and peers very proud with a brand new bike and helmet of course. Five years ago, on an August’s morning, three teens were killed at gunpoint. Martavious Elvis Brown, Se’Sawn David Danford, and Carley Nicole Chapman were murdered while playing video games inside an apartment located at 4743 Australian Ave, Apt.#205, Mangonia Park.
