Deputies responded to Somerset Academy in regards to a gun found in a student’s backpack. Detectives have interviewed all involved. The student is a boy, 6 years of age. He entered his classroom, tossed his backpack down and a loaded gun fell out. The teacher immediately rushed the students out of the classroom and notified school officials.
