PBSO deputies were dispatched to a shooting in the 200 block of SW 5^th Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male deceased from apparent gunshot wounds and a second adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. The injured male was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on the scene, investigating this double shooting as a homicide. Currently, details about suspects and motives are unknown.
