On 8/17/2018, at 6:15 am, deputies responded to a shooting at the 600 Block of North H Street. Upon arrival deputies discovered that an adult male had been shot. The suspects fled of in a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. Investigation is ongoing. On 08/17/18, 1:18 am, deputies responded to a stabbing located at 1000 S. Dixie Highway. BUSTED Slaughterhouse in Loxahatchee
On August 2, 2018, The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office raided a Loxahatchee Groves Farm accused of operating an illegal slaughterhouse. Over the course of a six month period, this farm was investigated for illegal slaughtering and animal cruelty. The Illegal activity was discovered by the ARM (Animal Recovery Mission) who notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. MEDIA ADVISORY Suspect wanted for burglary to a residence. An unknown male forcibly entered the victim residence. While inside, captured on surveillance video, he helped himself to the victim’s property. The suspect appears to be a white male, with short cropped hair, mustache and beard.
