Overnight News

On 8/17/2018, at 6:15 am, deputies responded to a shooting at the 600 Block of North H Street.  Upon arrival deputies discovered that an adult male had been shot.  The suspects fled of in a vehicle.  The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. BUSTED Slaughterhouse in Loxahatchee

On August 2, 2018, The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office raided a Loxahatchee Groves Farm accused of operating an illegal slaughterhouse. Over the course of a six month period, this farm was investigated for illegal slaughtering and animal cruelty. The Illegal activity was discovered by the ARM (Animal Recovery Mission) who notified the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Suspect wanted for burglary to a residence – Boca Trails Community

MEDIA ADVISORY Suspect wanted for burglary to a residence. An unknown male forcibly entered the victim residence. While inside, captured on surveillance video, he helped himself to the victim’s property. The suspect appears to be a white male, with short cropped hair, mustache and beard.  He has a tattoo on his right leg. This incident occurred on July 23, 2018. Detectives investigate a body found floating in a retention pond in Greenacres

Media Advisory   Date:           July 30, 2018 Time:           2:48 pm Location:    Walmart Shopping plaza, retention pond Deputies responded to a body found floating in a retention pond that flows alongside Walmart in the 6200 block of Forest Hill Blvd, Greenacres.  PBSO dive team responded and removed the male from the pond.  The male was identified as a homeless resident of Greenacres.  There is no obvious signs of death known at this time.
