The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, District 14 – City of Lake Worth Beach, will be collaborating with Brightline, Florida East Coast Rail (FEC), Tri-Rail, and Amtrak to conduct Rail Safety Week operations from Monday, September 23, 2024, to Sunday, September 29, 2024. This initiative targets pedestrian trespassing on railroad tracks and both vehicle and pedestrian infractions at grade crossing intersections.

Our primary goal is to educate the public through the distribution of flyers and pamphlets. Please note that repeat offenders may face arrest during this week-long operation. Residents of Lake Worth Beach can expect increased law enforcement presence near all railroad tracks within the city.
